Trying to change God's will

Whenever I am lazy, I tell my wife this: "Everything will happen according to God's will and so I am not inclined to pray. I cannot change God's will through prayer".
It is true, God's will cannot be changed through prayer. Job realized this the hard way here: I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. ‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. ‘Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.’ I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you;therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.Job 42-2:6 If we think we can alter God's will through prayer, then we got the idea of prayer really wrong. Well, there is still no evidence of life anywhere other than this earth -in this extraordinarily large universe. That makes me conclude, He created this vast expanse just for us to gaze the amazing beauty of the night instead of thinking about the dangers of darkness. The universe proves the size of His love for me. Father, "How much do you love me?" "If you can count the galaxies my son or my daughter, that is how much I love you!"

The next thing I think about is this. There are so many atrocitie…
