Life as we know it

I came to the LORD when I was very young. When I came to the LORD at that time, I had nothing in terms of material wealth. In a short time after that, I am slowly growing in material prosperity and one day I felt a bit overwhelmed with materialism. I wrote the following in my diary: Nothing I brought,
And nothing I begot;
Nothing I own,
And nothing I can disown;
From where I came,
I'll return to the same;
And all will end false,
Where my last breath calls. It should be pretty serious wisdom for someone in his mid-twenties. But I was probably inspired by the preacher who says: I have seen everything that is done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind.- Ecc 1:14 That brings us to a few important questions. If life is just vanity, what is the purpose of living? If life ends at death, what is the meaning of living? I would argue, there is a purpose and meaning only when Christ is in us. Watch with me

Today I was thinking about the church. Usually, people ask, "Did you go to the church?" I believe that is the wrong question. The question should be, are you in the church? The church is a spiritual assembly of believers with the LORD, and we should be in that state of assembly all the time. When we meet as a church on the weekends, we are just symbolically externalizing a spiritual fellowship that should already be in our hearts. My question really is about this fellowship. What is this fellowship, and why do we need it?
First about this fellowship: In John, it is put this way:
